As all the Geoghegan's race cars were black except for their Lotus Elite (white), Ian Geoghegan flew to the USA and
tracked down a black Mustang, only to be told on his return that Total Team wanted it to be painted white.
Bryan Thomson's Mustang was in the hull of freighter "MYSTIC" which caught fire in Bass Straight in December 1967.
Bob Jane's first Mustang after the 1965 Catalina crash, was stripped and the badly damaged body shell was given to a
young guy from Geelong.. Wonder what ever happened to this body shell.
After Chris Brauer's crash at Lakeside in the ex Bob Jane's 1967 Mustang, he sold the wreck to Ray Gulson who stripped
it and dumped the badly damaged body shell in Queanbeyan tip. A guy at the tip sold the body shell for 20 quid to a
Victorian guy.After trucking it down to Vic, decided it was to badly damaged to rebuild so he sold it it a new owner in
SA who built it into a speedway car and race it for many years.
